Hart is finished already. I don’t know how he can recover from the downturn in his career, looks terminal. **** no.
Why do we need a fourth choice keeper anyway? Hart is utter garbage, has been for years. Adrian's a decent 'keeper, would be far happier with that but it won't happen. Besides, we have far bigger priorities than either Hart or Kenedy for that matter.
I think there is a fair chance Woodman will be away out on loan. Kenedy should happen sooner rather than later now that Barkley has joined Chelsea. I have no idea how good he is but I'm not expecting miracles - probably something like Atsu's level or maybe not quite as good.
Alex Telles to Chelsea for £29m, then we get to borrow their left winger. Genuinely don't get this one in the slightest. How a ****ing left winger is what we're missing is beyond me.
Watched Kenedy play tonight against Norwich. Nothing to write home about that l could see Competition/cover for Dummett l guess, as l think Hairdara will be gone if Rafa gets his way.
Hold on to your hats. Allegedly we're finalising a loan move for Pape Souaré. Yeah, I had to look him up too.
He's that palace guy who had a nearly career ending car crash (sounds about right for penfold) isn't he?
Bingo, that's the guy. Just when you think we couldn't go lower than Joselu, we're allegedly after Palace's third choice (behind van Aanholt, ffs), nearly-died-once left back. Did we even get promoted to the Premier League? Do we owe the Championship a huge stack of cash for letting us win their league or summat?
Read an interesting bit on wages. Did anyone know that there is, in effect, a wage cap? But it was designed in such a way that it protected the league's big spenders around the 2012 season, meaning whatever you were spending at that moment in time was your yardstick for the future, i.e. Man City were already spending £200m a year, we by contrast were spending £60m. Subsequently you could increase your spending by about £20m, but City were already fcking miles away. Same with Chelsea, Man U, Spurs, Liverpool. Everybody else is apparently hamstrung by this ruling; so we're stuck with a wage bill we can't increase by much. You can add commercial revenue as a source of income to support hikes in wages, which is why Chelsea/Gazprom and Man C/Etihad have these fcking insane commercial agreements. However, for a tin pot arsehole like Ashley as our sponsor, we're adding effectively NOTHING to the bottom line, which is in turn one of the key reasons we can't invest in players. All this **** Ashley spunks on about us not paying interest on the loan being the equivalent of his SD advertising is utter, utter horseshit. By NOT paying £10-15m a year - which is what he gets for free - we are hampering our ability to add 4 or 5 more players to the squad. THIS is why we have a glorified bean counter in charge - Charnley - and THIS is why every window is a ****ing shambles. All a bit of a revelation to me. Sorry if you all already knew!!
Are you f*in kidding me!?! I agree with the idea of a wage cap but not if your just going to stop anyone else ever competing with the top boys for players
Wonder if there's anything to be read into Mbemba and Carroll not even making their respective benches? I mean, we've put fcking Haidara there, West Ham chose to pick SIX subs!!!!
