I reckon we'd be challenging for top 1That would be incredible.
Can't see it happening, but we can at least dream now.

Bellingham, Musiala and Maddison tyvm.
Probably is a huge understatement. We're still years of sustained success away from signing Bellinghams unfortunately. I still don't think we'll be able to get Maddison in Jan, but happy to be surprised.Bellingham is probably beyond us right now, Maddison is very realistic though, and we should go all out for him in Jan.

This. Maddison is the one. Just can’t see it happening. Hopefully he doesn’t kick a ball at the World Cup.Probably is a huge understatement. Highly unlikely Leicester will be selling Maddison in January, particularly if they lose games over Christmas, as he may be vital to them staying up. Suspect they will keep him and then look to either extend his contract or sell at end of season.This. Maddison is the one. Just can’t see it happening. I think there's a few to get rid of before Lacselles and Wood for me personally. I can see it though as both will have some value to other teams and could bring in small transfer fees. Ritchie I agree wholeheartedly - love the lad but he's done here. Lewis would be another I'd consider before those two, Paul Dummett for sure and either Darlow or more likely Gillespie, possibly both by the summer if Dubravka comes back after learning the grass isn't always greener. Manquillo would be the next as we don't need 3 RB's then I'd still have Fraser on the list and possibly Murphy as well tbh. But the value of that lot probably is quite small compared to someone like Lacselles or Wood who you'd hope we could get 8-10m for. Lacselles to Forrest would be a good shout.
I think we'll see some attacking players bought in and think a CM/DM as well. Streamline the squad and add quality.
Top 10 to go in order:
1 Ritchie
2 Gillespie
3 Dummett
4 Lewis
5 Fraser
6 Darlow
7 Manquillo
8 Wood
9 Murphy
10 Lacselles
If we can shift 3/4 of them in January I'd be happy with that and another 3/4 in the summer bringing in 6-8 replacements in the next two windows and you'd start to be pretty excited about the squad.
If we shipped out any significant number of those ten in January we'd have to replace most of them with homegrown players, which I imagine would involve a massive surcharge. Not that we can't do that, but the homegrown player rules make it harder for the club to shift players in the order we might hope for.

What are those rules ? Nobody used to read the rules.
I
Got to have 8 "Homegrown" players trained in the country for three years before they turn 21 y/o in the squad for EPL.
Got to have 4 Players trained at the club for three years before the turn 21 y/o in the registered squad for CL.

DummettAhh the hope I hold out for some of the youngsters coming through - David Edgar who scored a worldie against Man U back in the mid 00's, I was convinced he was going to be a mainstay of our defense and ended up playing over in USA like 4 years later
They've bough a few very promising youngsters this year pretty much exclusively from the UK so they are definitely looking at the long term project here.
Elliot Anderson, Matt and Sean Longstaff and Dummett all qualify for next seasons CL run![]()

Well Maddison's a nice addition for the first part then.
Second part is where hopefully the owners will realise investment in the academy is needed, unless we want the likes of Nile Ranger, Phil Airey and Harris Vuckic in the squad again.
Doesn't Bellingham check the first box....
