I agree, but we've already expended. I can't see where we need to strengthen if we have everyone available and playing at the top of their game.

As a squad we are solid, but we are jinxed with injuries as per.
Huggins and Broadhead were class against Cheltenham but neither have played since. Winchester could be an option in midfield but he's our only player now that can play RB. That pretty much sums it up and id rather not take risks in promotion. We spent last season with not a single CB available towards the end

I agree marra, but we can't go out and buy 3 or 4 players because we have some short term injuries.....Huggins apart. We have to assume that Winchester will stay fit,Alves will not be long even though Huggins is a bit of a blow to us. O9 has played there,as has Ollie Younger and Flanno,so we have cover. I'm hoping Xhemajli will be available too shortly,so I don't see CB as a problem, and we have Cirkin and Denver on the other side. Evans,O9,Embo,Pritchard and Neill should be capable of being fashioned into a 3 man midfield and we have Broadhead to come in alongside Stewart, with Leon and Lynden, even if we rest McGeady and AoB.
I don't see the need to add....just to get everyone fit and playing at their best.

Disagree. We’re crying out for a dominant central midfielder and another forward IMO. If Stewart got injured we’d be ****ed.

Imo we have the quality we need in central midfield. I take the point about Stewart though. He's an excellent player and we would miss him.

A striker and a Right back and id be happy mate. I dont expect an influx of players either

I would be surprised if we dont sign a striker personally. If we are pushing at the top of the league we can sign championship ready players as well.

I think we may see the likes of Wright move on, possibly O'Brien too, if we can do the sort of deal Johnson wants. 1 or 2 fresh faces can give everyone a boost

Whilst I am delighted with the squad assembled by the management team, I've always felt we are short of a strong defensive midfield player who isn't interested in scoring goals just holding the team together when the going gets tough. A young Kevin Ball would be my ideal choice and such an addition in January would be the final piece of the jigsaw to ensure promotion.

If we are up there with a chance I would make Hoffs move a permanent one if possible and maybe bring in a quality goal scorer on loan from some premiership club to replace Aob and possibly move on one of Geeds or Gooch to cut costs unless they show a sharp improvement in terms of end product. I would not loose any sleep either over Bailey Wright, Pritchard and Evans being off loaded as non have impressed this season.

I’d like a backup striker for sure, and another midfielder.

Agree a nice unit who’s not scared to fish it out would be a benefit.
We need a backup striker. A proper goal scorer would be nice.
But the holding midfield is our weakest part of the team.
We have playmakers in Neil and Embleton and Pritchard is starting to show
But we need someone to dominate midfield organise things pick up the second balls and feed the play makers
Too often we allow teams to play and give them confidence
This end to end stuff is entertaining when you win but we need to start dominating games.
