He needs to gan to Greggs. We need to get this lad down to the physio sharpish, to see what they can do about his anorexia. He will be useless in this league imo.
Competent is a rather large improvement on the other 2!!We’ve done better than I expected.
Now nowt of the Liverpool lad but Camp is a competent keeper, and had we had one all season we’d be 8-10 points better off.
Fletcher, well he’s been rated for a long time and at some point he might step up.
We are in massive **** but I’m ok with these 3, and having discovered Steele was a winger I wish him well, I’d be a **** butcher, given that I’m not trained and that![]()

Yeah I think soYeah I think he should be alright shouldn't he, decent keeper at this level.
I don't think he'll help at all, he has decent pace and is quite tricky but he's nothing special and isn't going to dig in and get you many points. Soz.
Yeah I think so
I went to bed and didn't watch any of the deadline day stuff - my missus made an offer I couldn't refuse and that was far better than watching Jim White drone on on sky! So I've literally only just found out about Fletcher and Camp.
Pretty happy with the window all in all - aside from losing Grabban (who isn't exactly a worker but will score goals when given the ball at this level) it's not been too bad.
Ejaria comes highly rated but, as others say, I know nothing about him. Camp I've seen play at this level and, as you say, competent enough. Fletcher will work hard and (from talking to my boro mates) can put the ball in the net. Good at holding the ball up apparently too. Should help Maja and Asoro. LuaLua is tricky
Just asked on the LFC board about Ejaria and got this response:
Agree but put Styrick in goal, we need to give him an opportunity. Not sure about Camp _never really noticed him before we loaned him.Steele is probably the worst keepr I've ever seen at Sunderland! Not sure we need a replacement. I honestly think most of the outfield players could do a better job than him!!! Ruiter was starting to look a little better until last night when he was utterly awful!
Yeh me too we should haveDerby changed their mind about signing him after the loan period, so our lot pulled the plug on the deal.
Personally I would have given him away!
Think I remember seeing that Beadling has gone out on loan somewhere, make or break time for him I guess.
Ayegobe uo to Scotland mate, Dunfermline maybe?
YehDoes anyone else think its weird to see loan signings having a load of photos taken holding the scarf etc etc etc. They are only here for 4 months and not even our player.
For what its worth I wish the club had sought these younger, hungrier players years ago when we may have been in a position to buy them if the loan was successful. We cant afford any of these loanees to buy afterwards. A sad state of affairs.
Is there a little irony in the term "Moved the goalposts" relating to Steele! Not sure he knows where they were before they were movedAll good though, we've still got 100s of **** keepers
