Rene gives a quick interview in between dealings.

That's the sprit. I like to see a bit of guts.

Yes, great stuff from the boss and his acknowledgement of Shad Khan.

Liked his adept handling of what/who was missing in the Swansea game.

5Live saying Heitinga all but a done deal. An 'tidying' up issue being his current £55k pw wages at Everton. However they are repeating that it would be loan. How is that possible? What am I missing??

Yes it was live on Sky Sports News about fish and chips!

Regarding Heitinga is not a loan but picking up the rest of the contract... Which means we buy him without a transfer fee...

Well this is turning out to be a very good transfer window for Fulham. Full credit to the Club for getting behind Rene and giving it a real good go for the final 15 games left.

I'm really quite impressed and with such a narrow margin of points between the bottom 10 or so Clubs I think we might just have a chance now. Might take a bit of time for us to get off the ground - we've got 3 tough matches next where it will be difficult to pick up points but if some of these players can get off to a good start we're with for a shout after these.

I will admit I don't much about all the players we have signed but reading other club forums and the sports updates today they all seem to have a hard work ethic in them and that is what is going to be required.

I'm very happy and will be even more happy if we get these two Man Utd guys Tunnicliffe and Cole - young skilful players for the future. Only disappointment for me was the departure of Hughes. As Cottager 58 says, I think he'll be back in a few years. He's Fulham through and through and a great ambassador for the Club. Surprised also Senderos is still with us.

Let's hope all this positivity rubs off for Saturday. We were more than shocking down at St Marys or what ever it is called now. 3 points would be very welcome !

Who was the Inter Milan striker in the 90s who wore 18 and used to put a + between the two (i.e. 1+8=9)? I always got a little kick out of that.

Zamorano I think, because Ronaldo had 9 in his contract

Just looked online actually and apparently it was because Baggio had to have Ronaldo's 10 shirt so Zamorano lost his 9.
