Really please for Defoe. Always wanted to come back and we had our offer and kept at it.
Matete could be the best signing we have made this window. Ridiculous potential and a big pay out to get him. Serious investment.

It’s a mad decision to let Flanagan go without a replacement. Just a needless unforced error.
Unless we had his replacement in before we let him go (Batth)

They were irrelevant anyway. Played about 5 mins between them. Use others as back up.
For me, the model is the same. Ageing players out who simply have not did it for years. Players with freshness and point to prove in.
