Been thinking that Cole Stockton from Morecombe would be a good replacement for O'Brien and backup for Stewart.
Can’t see Stockton happening. Doesn’t fit the profile of signing players who are undervalued. If anything he will come with a massive price inflation due to his recent record
I reckon Stockton is at the highest stock he ever will be in his career, I'm not sure hes who we'll go for.
Do people want to sign league one players or players that can grow and come with us when we get promoted? Stockton would not do it in championship

Trai Hume is an interesting signing. Good reputation in the league and u21 level. Coaches sing his praises. Only 19 but played 60 plus league games which I would say will see his development a bit further forward than a 19 year old playing u23s. Another young lad with the chance to play and develop more. Also another who can potentially go on and be sold for much more. Very much the sort of signing we are making. Would make a lot of sense in terms of position too.

He also says Patrick Roberts is a recommendation from Eric Roy because Troyes in Roy’s old club?!! Roy played 6 games for Troyes like 20 years ago, and Roberts hasn’t played for them at all is he? Does he really think people will believe that Roy has somehow therefore been the one to tell the club about a player that everybody already knows about. Especially seeing 2 weeks ago we all saw photos of Lee Johnson sitting and laughing with Man City’s management at a Newcastle game? Pretty sure if anybody did any recommending it came from that relationship rather than the fact an ex player of ours once played for the club he’s currently at loan at.
