I agree we are capable, along with others who are also capable.

It's not the greatest basis for a top 6 expectation though.
Let’s be honest we aren’t getting any proven pl
Striker who’s in form are we. I think he was more prolific than long (I haven’t checked the data, Roseys hogging the pc)

He did score more than long, but Long stretched sides that gave him the opportunity a lot of the time.

Was a good partnership to be fair. Just a shame it didn't really last.

How was I 'twisting or making up' anything when I was pointing out that next season would be Rosenior's third with us? I've seen in the past few pages you accusing a few others of making things up or twisting things too so it seems you're just in a bit of a defensive mindset today.

Nope, not a few just orange who did make up something and then also turned out to be doing his usual, quoting someone and then answering something and someone completely different.

As I said, in my previous reply, you have form for it and if I took it the wrong way... My apologies

Next season is make or break for Rosenior, still question marks over whether he’s capable of coaching a good attacking side. Right now we rely too much on individual brilliance rather than a good system to get us goals. Doing a decent job on the whole but nothing special so dont think we are at risk of a team in the prem coming in anytime soon.

We signed him cos he'd started well but ultimately failed at Everton, but I'll accept he was a 1 in 4 striker for us. If only we could have kept Long longer and I think he'd have scored more. But again, 46 games in a period of how long that we've not really had an established centre forward at the level we've been at, I mean we're talking years on end really...
I’m thinking Stuart Elliott, Danny Allsopp was then Abel at championship level

And PLT.

Oh here we go again, so what do you think I made up this time?

He is definitely doing a decent job and this season is an improvement overall. But you're also correct....the question mark is over whether or not he can take us to the next stage and also sort out the goal scoring. He deserves the chance to start it next season.

And the most recent of those was when?

Have you read the context behind the statement you're arguing with, or just arguing?
Ermmm who’s arguing, you’re talking about proven strikers at the level we are/were at. I’m agreeing and saying the players I’ve named were proven at the levels. Which goes back years….which was your point

The most recent of which was Abel and the only one who played much more than a season worth of games.
