He would have been there in the box wherever the ball was bouncing around, it might have bounced off his arse, he might have fell over and it bounced off his back, or he might have boshed in a 25 yard curler off his weak foot. He gets in the right place at the right time and scores goals and that’s exactly what we’ve been lacking so many times we’ve the enemy pegged back but just can’t score.
He wasn't getting minutes ahead of Connolly or Delap so he wouldn't have been on the pitch. His strike rate at the start of the season was fantastic but for the rest of the season it was poor and he offers absolutely nothing else. It's not like he doesn't miss big chances either.
There's this weird perception over the player Oscar is and the player people think he is but then I see people criticising Coyle and Alfie when we lose and they've been top for the last yearish. Greaves used to get criticised too
