Acun Ilicali loves the thrill of deadline day and given his comments to Hull Live on Wednesday, you would not rule out something special happening before 11pm. It's no secret the club are working hard to bring in a winger and big progress has been made in that quest, so City will be aiming to get that one over the line having been chasing it all month.

Allahyar's exit to Westerlo means the club can get the deal for Abdulkadir Omur over the line with him signing a long-term contract at the MKM Stadium, with City paying around £2m to bring the 24-year-old playmaker to East Yorkshire. That deal includes a hefty sell-on clause for Trabzonspor, hence why the initial figure is much lower than the prices originally quoted in the Turkish press.

Jason Lokilo and Allahyar Sayydmanesh have both gone. Lokilo on loan to FC Vizela for the remainder of the season and Allahyar permanently to Westerlo in Belgium. City are actively trying to move out Dogukan Sinik and Ryan Woods ahead of the deadline. Sinik has interest from clubs in Turkiye including Adana Demirspor and Hatayspor and the expectation is that he'll move back to the Super Lig.

We've already seen the likes of Harry Wood, Will Jarvis and Andy Smith leave on short-term loan deals and it would not be a surprise if Thimothee Lo-Tutala and David Robson exited and there's potential for Tyrell Sellars-Fleming may well find his way into League Two. However, it's understood Matt Ingram is likely to remain at the club for the remainder of the season, despite an initial expectation he could move on in this window.

City have also been weighing up the situation with Liam Delap's loan move from Manchester City and a decision on that may well be made, should the Tigers need that loan spot for any late business.

Can't see the point of not revealing it now.
He was quite happy to mention other players that haven't materialised like Rak Sakyi and Benson.

I think if we're talking in terms of "we must reach the playoffs", then it doesn't really matter if we sign them on loan or not. The incentive is there for players to come in and potentially have a promotion on their CV, which will either get them recognised by their parent club or open up career options elsewhere. I don't much buy into this "they must breathe black and amber" to come here, some players just want to play football and do well and if a player wants to do that for different reasons than playing for Hull City, provided it doesn't impact their performance, I can't say I'm too bothered if they're desperate to come or forced to come at gunpoint by Acun.

I think we'll bring in more than 1 winger today, hopefully a permanent and a loan. We've barely got any wide options left after getting rid of Allahyar, Lokilo & maybe Sinik.
