Precisely. And every chance Philogene goes to the PL too. You're right though, players on short term deals/out of contract are just as in need of replacement as the four loanees in our Starting XI.

Contract wise we're in as strong of a position as we've been in years.
2024: Christie, Connolly, Docherty, Sharp, Traore
2025: Allsop, Lokilo, Seri, Sinik, Tufan
2026: Coyle, Greaves, Jones, McLoughlin, Philogene, Slater
2027: Pandur

Of those expiring I think we'll extended Connolly and be happy to move the rest on. Then the real spine of the team (bar loans and Seri) are on multi year deals.

Yes, it's refreshing that we don't have the usual contract scramble this summer. I'd think we'd be bringing in a striker or two in the summer, a CM perhaps, and that'd almost do us. Maybe a RB too. Add a sprinkle of PL loanees (*gasp*) on top and we'd be in as strong a position as we've been.

Should definitely have given us a much stronger squad however it will now go down to how quickly they fit in, some will take more time than others to settle and for this season it’s only a short period of time. Let’s hope they gel quickly and give us that boost in the final run in. Obviously they all have a big part to play but for me Noah is massively important with us losing Delap. If he can get anywhere near his standards then we have a chance. It’s a lot to put on someone though and I know we have alternative’s if not , however for me he could be very important.

Ryan Kent issued ultimatum
Ryan Kent has reportedly been told he won’t even be named on the Fenerbahce BENCH for the remainder of the campaign if he failed to agree to a move.

The former Rangers winger appeared to be heading towards a move to Dinamo Zagreb on loan but a deal looks to have stalled.

Sport Digitale report that the 27-year-old knocked back a move to Hull City today - and has been given an Istanbul ultimatum.

Seems like Acun worked Kent out good and dropped interest.

I

I know his cousins, introduced me to him a few years ago, he has 3 of my poetry books and a picture my photographer friend did. I put a poem to it called “ The whisper.” He’s been in Rayners a few times, also met Maxine peake in there, it was to do with the headscarf revolutionaries. I have to admit I found her very attractive and fantastic to have a conversation with.
I have a signed copy of his autobiography "Dear Tom: Letters from home" which Waggy also signed for me on one visit to his club in Hessle when I picked up a signed copy of his bio. They knew each other quite well and Waggy is mentioned a few times in T.C.'s book. He was head boy at Kingston H.S. when I was in the 1st or 2nd year there. A good read both of them.

I thought Kent was looking for a Saudi pay day

"Ryan Kent, at the moment, is not on our list. He's a very good player, but he's not in the mindset that we were expecting him to be," the Tigers owner told Hull Live. "He has to plan his career more clearly. I would say that our aim is sign players that are more determined and focused to join our club. If a player has big confusion in his mind then I wouldn't try to push him,we wouldn't push him. It's not a positive thing to force players. It's better for us to focus on players who want to come and play for Hull City in the Championship."

I think they have misspelt ’Kent’.

It's been a great month for us as supporters with what the club has achieved bringing in the players to boost our play off hopes, still think we may get a surprise on thursday we won't be expecting can never tell with Acun he might like the deadline day excitement.

Just imagine how pleased he must be with himself getting the club to this position, signing these kind of targets already.

Vinagre was here with an option to buy so he didn’t count as a loan because he will be our player in the summer.

Yep and he's gone and been replaced by Giles so by my quick maths 1 - 1 + 1 = 1. Can you confirm I've added that right?

15m option v 4m option also a slightly different prospect when it comes to realism of triggering it.

Definitely i agree, he must definitely believe he chose the right club and probably knew he would make mistakes at the early stages but did any of us ever expect we would have or attract the quality of players he has somehow managed to convince to come here already, we are so lucky to have at last got an owner who actually loves the fans as much as they love him.
