"As Hull Live reported earlier this week, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh is in the Netherlands to seal his loan move to Eredivisie outfit Westerlo, while Matt Ingram and Jason Lokilo are also the subject of bids and could be moving on."

At the risk of being called an "expert" on Dutch football. Westerlo are Belgian and play in the Belgian Pro League not the Eredisie :emoticon-0138-think

I would say you're telling us you are an expert on belgium football :emoticon-0102-bigsm.

Omur has serious pedigree.

He’s got 6 assists in 13 starts this season already.

Last year he only Started 21 games, but they won the league I think, they sign a lot of players and he’s been pushed out a little bit. Year before he started 30 games with 7 goals and 3 assists. He’s obviously a serious talent. Like all flair players it’s all about mindset, but if Rosie can pull Tufan round then I can’t see it been a problem.

Reports say at one time not in the distant past he was on Man City and Liverpools radar at £20 million...

From Manchester City Media Watch January 2 2019:

Finally, there’s also a snippet of transfer gossip as the Daily Express suggest Trabzonspor have stated their asking price for alleged City and Liverpool target Abdulkadir Omur.

Writes James Benson: “The 19-year-old is enjoying another fine campaign having made a breakthrough last season.

“And his performances at the Medical Park Arena have earned him an array of suitors.

“Liverpool are at the front of the queue to secure Omur’s services. While their title rivals Manchester City have also been in touch with Trabzonspor concerning a possible deal.

“Trabzonspor are said to have informed the Premier League duo that Omur is available for £27m (€30m).

“However, they may face competition from Roma after the Serie A giants launched an enquiry too.”

Sign him, develop him to have a stellar season and give liverpool first refusal for £25 million with a loan back.

Fantastic bringing in a player like Omur. It's amazing how far we've come in recent years under Acun.

As fantastic as it is, I do wonder how LR is going to set us up... In that latest article by Baz he goes on to say "A winger remains a high priority before the week is out, while there will be players leaving." So thats Omur + a winger and maybe a striker before the deadline.

__________Striker?
Philogene Carvalho Omur
________Seri Morton
Giles Greaves Jones Coyle
__________Pandur

Im guessing the young winger on loan is coming to warm our bench with Tufan? I dont see how else he gets into the team.. unless we really arnt going for a striker and LR plans on playing Carvalho or Omur as a false 9 freeing up another position.. <confused>

What a team that is by the way. Add a quality striker to that and its going to be a very entertaining end to the season.
