We seem to be in a weird place at the moment were the owners and manager are aiming for promotion but we're really, if being honest, not ready for it yet. I know there's no right or wrong way of getting promoted, as long as you do. I just feel that if we were a bit more realistic, we could build the team up now and in the summer for next season.

I'd like to see at least 2 or 3 permanent transfers this window, players that can go straight into the starting 11, fullback, winger, striker. Then suddenly our squad next season doesnt look so bad with the likes of Morton, Delap etc leaving, we wont need a massive rebuild.

Realistically unless something radical happens we’re are going at best to scrape for 6th place. With half a season gone other teams are way ahead of us.Burnley dominated this league last year but are prime candidates to be relegated this year. We see the same mistakes each week and playing people out of position seems to be the norm

Top ten was the target wasn't it? I think the coach and the owner had started to think/realise there is no reason why we couldn't compete for a top 6 spot and then boom!!!!!!!!!!!! , the wheels came lose and started falling off.

It can still be 'recovered' of course but I cannot see it happening without that 'experience' a lot of us think is missing. I'll bet the socials the players have are lovely. Way too nice.

What was the name of that Crystal Palace lad that we are chasing, just about to start watching the arse v palace game, is he in the palace squad??
