I have, yes. Also seen Allsop play and he’s not a serious option at this level either.

Honestly.... Allsop isn't that bad, yes he's made some bad mistakes, but how many great passes / direct assists have resulted in goals? More assists than mistakes i reckon (just a guess, I don't have the stats)

Jay Stansfield wouldn’t be a bad centre forward option. Birmingham are worried about a recall to Fulham amidst interest in him from other clubs in the Championship.

Of course I know this. I know you know this but I'll say it anyway, I'm sure in those games as well as games we didn't keep CS in Allsop saved shots on target while also doing what he was brought in for, distributing the ball well with his feet. The point of bringing up the games he kept CS in was since people seem to be convincing themselves that Allsop hasn't saved a single shot for us in his City career. As I say in my post, this board seems to go on a hyperbolic train at times where once an opinion is made of a player it goes from "Yeah he's ok but not as good as we'd hoped" to "He's the worst keeper I've ever seen in a City shirt".

I don't think I claimed he's the best shot stopper, just that he's adequate and will be adequate depth when Pandur comes in.

I know you know this, bit you don't have to reply with "I know you know this"

I don't think he is adequate at shot stopping. He makes the ones blasted at him seem dramatic, but he really does let some easy ones in. I get he has assisted a couple of goals....but they Don't outweigh the bad shot stopping IMO.

When I say adequate, I mean it from the point of our ambitions to be top 6.

Think Ipswich are interested but we should definitely try.

Which is why were spending 1.5m strengthening his position.

It's just progress...right. allsop has done some good ****, we just need more shot stopping too. And michael jackson feet.

Depends I suppose whether you're a transfer guru or not.

But Alsopp as no 2 and cashing in on Ingram sooner or later to help bring in a No1 certainly doesn't seem shambolic to me for a squad in transition trying to nab top 6 on a budget.
