I think we're trying to get Luke Thomas on loan from Leicester. He has been recalled from his loan at Sheff Utd as he wasn't getting regular games and it would make sense for him to get regular games here. Would be a very good signing.

I expect our left back signing to be a permanent, we'll save the loan places for attacking options.

Not as simple as that.
What 'key positions'? Keeper? CM? CF? They are all 'key positions' when you don't have cover in place.
It's because our recruitment has been and continues to be highly questionnable. With the numbers that have come in over recent windows we should have 2 decent options for each position (as was 'promised'), and then 2 or 3 useful utility players (like Slater). We haven't. The balance remains wrong, ironically mostly in the positions that were identified as being key areas to fix (LB, width, wingers).

Acun went all Football Manager in this first window and we're still a little hamstrung by some of the players that lumbered us with, but overall this season's windows have been excellent.

Don’t know if we can get Longman back, but if Twine does go and we replace with Longman, I think that would be good business, both saving us money and strengthening us where we’re weaker.

We've already replaced Twine with Carvalho. We don't need another "No.10" but we are desperate for a right winger and if we can't get anyone else I would take Longman over Lokilo every day of the week

Exactly, Longman is a better option out wide than Twine and I don’t think there’s a great deal between them as players anyway. That could work out well for us if we can get him back.

Lokilo just isn’t good enough.

If LR is sticking with this system then we really need to stop forcing square pegs in round holes.

We need any 2 quality wingers to add to Philo
A lb ( Jacob is fine as #2 )
A RB to push LC and or cover him
A proper forward as we know Connolly isn't robust enough and sharp isn't a week in week out starter

One thing we definitely don't need is any more [HASHTAG]#10s[/HASHTAG]

Furlong is 21 not 17 or 18, he’s not a kid or a development signing. If he’s not good enough these last few weeks when there’s been an injury crisis he’s never going to cut it.

Another pointless signing like Simons.

When you sign someone from a club like Brighton who is 20-21-years-old, you expect them to be ready to play if called upon. The fact Furlong can’t get a single minute for us, even in the cup ahead of Jacob, suggests he’s ****e and a dud.

Exactly - the time is now, I'm afraid.

Longman is dreadful just ask any millwall fans , he’s 100% dropping a league next club

They also think Honeyman is dreadful.

Tufan is awful ask any Watford fan.

Slater is awful ask any Sheff U fan.

Longman was alright, he was just a boo boy for the hard of thinking. He’s no worse than Twine, better actually in the position Twine is going to be playing, he’s our player and he likely costs us a lot less. At a time when it seems like we need to make limited funds stretch as far as they can it seems a sensible move if that’s how things work out and Twine goes to Bristol.

Finally some sense, although I’d add another CM to that but that would be bottom of the priority list
