Sadly we dont really have much say. If its true the rumoured fee is closer to £5m and as much as I like him he's not worth that.

I'm aware that non parachute teams need to manage their squads accordingly but I am getting frustrated that bar Pandur we are looking at loans for key attacking positions. Derby have just had a bid of 300k rejected for that Blackett-Taylor and I feel he could make the step up but we wont take the punt

I thought Twine played well on Friday as well but if Bristol City want him more then we do then good luck to him.

Letting him and Allahyar leave without having somebody in the door is ridiculous though. You’d have thought Rosenior would’ve learned from sanctioning Óscar’s departure when a deal for Davis or another replacement wasn’t finalised. I know Rosenior likes a smaller squad but he seems to want to shoo players out the door before we’ve got replacements and it can and has left us in the lurch.

Bit of ITK for you from Burnley end. Twine looks about done for 5 million. Crazy fee if so. Benson and Zoury might be available as Kompany wants 4/5 new signings.
 
Absolutely fine to see Twine go. He's better as a 10 than a winger but we have much better options in that role now. If that means Twine can only play as a winger for us id rather see him go and bring in some proper wingers.

Id prefer us to buy players instead of loans as I dont think we'll get top 6 this season and it'd be nice to know we've got a good team ready to go next season rather than yet another rebuild.

Should be an interesting next couple of weeks either way!
