If we bring in Carvalho you play him centrally behind the striker. Problem is I also like Tufan in the team... maybe have Tufan playing next to Morton until Seri comes back and then let them battle it out for a starting role? Either way it'll be a great problem to have.

I also hope Rosenior has lost patience with players like Lokilo and Twine as both havent played anywhere near good enough over the first half of the season. Lokilo can maybe feel a little hard done by as he's not had the minutes Twine has, so maybe a little harsh but I dont think he's good enough for what we're aiming for.

He'll play deeper if we actually get a decent no.10. He's just the only player we've got that can make something happen centrally (in advanced areas)
He’s really kicked into gear recently for me. Excellent off the ball, linking together the play. Good passing range, deceptively quick and our best finisher.

What would you put it down to? Because parent clubs will see that Delap and Morton weren't the best at clubs last year but have kicked on this
That was as much down to them adapting to first team football though. They showed glimpses but we’ve clearly benefited from them having a full season at this level before.

Don't disagree but it certainly creates an impression we are a team that young talent can come to and get game time so they can develop. It does help

I think Twine getting hooked on 60 minutes was pretty ominous.

I think he has much more to offer than he has shown thus far but in he’s had far too many chances and been consistently ****e. If he was our player he maybe worth persevering with, but he isn’t, so off he should **** for me.

Lets hope Bristol City do come in for him then to get a salary off the books. Question??... should that happen, did we pay a loan fee for him and would we get a proportion of it back.

He’s not very physical so don’t think he will ever really kick on beyond the level he’s currently at. He’s quite technical but just never stamps his authority on games, definitely not consistent enough to be making him permanent.

If we did, then it all wouldn't be paid upfront, it would be some in each transfer window ( or that is how it normally goes )

I was looking for him, Slater, Mcloughlin and Doc - as experienced players - to step up and lead by example today. Don't think any of them did that particularly well

Think Slater's versatility works in his favour, with only 2 senior cb's on the books I also think Macca is safe for now, but Doc despite his engine is so limited for this level, I can see him, Allayhar, Sinik, being moved on if there's any offers, Twine maybe running out of chances, and if there is the chance I do suspect we'll be sending him back, together with Vinagre.

LR won’t send Twine back they did so much work to get him into the club they won’t send him back after half a season, and no doubt they will still have faith in him to fulfil what they think he is capable of.
