I thought that too, he had a different tone to usual, especially when he said some players didn’t grasp the opportunity…
Less protective / less matey & more ruthless undertones

The windows open. You can't go into players in September when there's nothing you can do about it for months.

It seems like we're pushing ahead with business earlyish too

Bloody hope so, far too often of late we've left it til silly hours to do our business and been found out a couple of times through it.
