I'd be surprised if he didn't have the money. I worked with him in the 80's, and his military vehicles were worth a pretty penny, and he had a nice Jaguar MK II. Motley crew describes them very well.

Not related but I also noticed that Pearsons (Old Zoo now) was doing free Christmas dinners for anyone on their own. Decent thing to do.

Started with the Botanic owner suggesting Pearson’s owner was sending people round to film them illegally streaming games and was the one getting them the fines.

I want to like Botanic, a local pub championing City is a rare thing sadly, but they just don't feel "right". Think I've mentioned before the silence I got when I enquired about their Turkey trip last summer as well
