I don’t fully disagree with this, but I don’t think multiple full backs should be the priority this window.

We’ve clearly got multiple problems at the other end of the pitch. Our downturn in form started when we lost Jaden and I think in large parts that is because we have lost the natural balance to the team.

One full back in should be a priority, but as we have a number of others who have played there with some success recently, I think that’ll do until the summer.

it’ll def need looking at then again though.

Our defensive issues by and large are down to the goalkeeping. Allsop is ranked as one of the worst. Have to hope this Pandur is decent

Deal was agreed prior to Twine leaving being a proper possibility according to Baz. Just seems like Benson is aiming higher than us.

Think the very fact the club have confirmed interest prior to agreeing with the player means it's unlikely.

Doesn't he want to go to Southampton but Burnley don't want to sanction it due to the Tella fallout?

I reckon Zaroury is the most likely one from Burnley.

We have agreed to mutually terminate it, we are hardly going to come out in public and say "we've not been hugely impressed by him so we've agreed to let him go back" after all the song and dance we made about getting him.

He hasn't hit the levels we as a club expected him to hit, he hasn't provided the dead ball quality we expected him to provide ( dropped from taking corners full stop for example ) and the club is happy to terminate the deal which frees up some money to go after someone else.

Plus we aren't going to make it to difficult seen as we want other players from them
And the owners have seen a window of opportunity, and so their expectations have changed.

Like I said, disappointing he didn’t score many, but I don’t think it’s fair to say he’s poor at them. Fine margins.

Yes fine margins, but those fine margins are the good free kick takers score them and the poor ones don't. No point being constantly close. He's just not lived up to his hype on dead balls at all ( or his hype full stop), neither free kicks or corners.

If it goes in, he's done his job. If it goes wide by a whisker or a country mile....wide is wide and he hasn't done his job.

Twine had some good moments. But it took him a while to get going here and whilst he looked to be getting it right I don't think its a bad move for us....Frees up a space to bring in a new body. Just where that will be is anyone's guess. Watch this space.

Good luck to Bristol, Scott.

Cardiff fans did warn us....While he started okay, his performances have rapidly nosedived. His best moment, to date, were Mbro away, but beyond that I can recall anything to get carried away about. Very average...not much better or worse than Ingram.

Here’s the number of goals scored from direct free kicks this season ^

I’m sure every team has a set piece specialist in their team too, wonder if they sack them off cause they haven’t scored 40 free kicks a game. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Twine was on track for 14 goal involvements if he carried on current form until the end of the season, I would’ve guessed he would’ve improved a bit further.

14 goal involvements from a midfielder for £2.5 million? Nope not good enough for Hull City. Let’s get another short term loan instead.

Keane Lewis Potter 15 goal involvements £16 million

Rosenior wanted Allsop.
He's already said Pandur will take time to adjust to Championship football, meaning he's unlikely to take over straight away.
So, there's another wasted signing, time and money (Allsop).

Yes, Philogene was hell of a coup. That's one.
Besides Philogene, we've managed to get Delap and Morton on loan (hardly building for anything).
Those aside, it continues to be underwhelming and in some respects shambolic.

I'm looking just now at the 1st team squad on the OWS ...
Allsop - brought in as No. 1 by Rosenior. Replacement already incoming.
Lo Tutala - pointless
Vinagre - we were warned
Furlong - pointless
Twine - pointless (as commented, we needed to strengthen in nearly every position but his, all that time, effort & money wasted, and now gone to a rival)
Sharp - 38 next month. Really building for the future
Lokilo - a punt, doesn't seem to have worked out.

I get it that not every signing works out but come on. If that isn't underwhelming and shambolic I don't know what is. What a waste of time, effort and money; maybe not big money but time, effort and money that could be better used.

KLP is proving to have a higher ceiling of potential than Twine.

I don't see twins stepping up to the prem.

2 of Twines goal involvements were superb solo efforts by Philogene and Connolly that Twine just happened to be the one to lay it off to them.

I get your point but the loans of Delap and Morton will have a longer benefit of clubs trusting us with prize assets.

Not sure I said we was or wasn't. I said Ingram is a better shot stopper....which he is, just as allsop is better with his feet

Lots riding on Pandur. Hope he's up to speed sooner rather than later. Don't see either Ingram or Alsopp as a viable first choice if the aim is promotion over the next couple of years. Decent no 2 options though.
