Last time this happened we plummeted down the league and form was abysmal. Maybe even bottom of the form table. We have had 2 years to sort this and we havnt. Literally no other permanent striker bought.

Speakman and recruitment have made some good calls but not getting some experience and a number 9 option is absolute failure. No other way to dress it up.

Just a massive opportunity missed. We are in with a possibility of play off positions and we have absolutely left ourselves criminally short.

Our form without an available striker was 10 points out of 10 games, that is relegation form. Hope to God we can keep Gelhardt fit for the remainder of the season.

Yes we have recruited some good players...

However in imho, we have failed where it counts most.

That's my feeling mate, not sure what people expect in first season promoted. Don't even know how many goals the lads we've signed will score. It's not absolutely ideal but looks awesome compared to 2 years ago. We have spent 4 seasons with virtually no income. Which club is in an ideal position? Really don't understand the moaning, I'm delighted, perhaps naive, but each to their own

Not as much will be achievable if the goals dry up with no strikers. Nobody will fear us and they will look to dominate games.

We just need an option. An actual 9. A loan to get us through to re consider options in the summer. All of our attacking players player better when playing off a 9. I won't accept a single player in world football was not available on a loan.

He had 30 days since Simms went, again the plan looks like it was to have 2 strikers only with Stewart and Gelhardt, the gamble hasn't worked again. I just hope the young lad is up for the fight.

It’s ****ing disgusting

The board are clearly not particularly bothered about anything on the field now we are safe. I’d we’d have achieved something by chance it would have been a bonus for them but it isn’t a real goal

Horrific attitude when fans are still going to attend 18 more games

Exactly this!!! a plodder better than no one. Just someone to jump for the ball up top and hold it up. Goes miles further than jack Clarke playing there. We couldn’t break Shrewsbury Town down until Stewart came on. I think it’s important to call mistakes out.

If it's just a case of having a body in the box we might as well play O9 there
