yes but we had two strikers until 4 days ago. So it’s not a whole window at all.

If we don’t get a striker in we’ve totally wasted a fantastic start and all the good feeling within the fan base will have evaporated too. How can you not learn from the mistake from the first window of the season?!

I don’t doubt they’re working hard and there’s no doubt the Stewart injury has made a difference but it’s multiple windows now and we went into this one saying we needed two in. Even accounting for the Stewart situation, we failed with that. Looks very likely we counted on Everton getting sorted, despite saying all window we wouldn’t do that.
