Three windows in a row they’ve made a mess of the CF situation. Loads of good work going on with recruitment but this is pretty bad no matter how you wish to spin it.

I said a few days ago Speakman has rightly been criticised, then praised him cos he deserved it, but they’ve had a whole window of knowing we needed two strikers, this is one of those where he deserves to be criticised

 

yes but we had two strikers until 4 days ago. So it’s not a whole window at all.

 

If we don’t get a striker in we’ve totally wasted a fantastic start and all the good feeling within the fan base will have evaporated too. How can you not learn from the mistake from the first window of the season?!

I don’t doubt they’re working hard and there’s no doubt the Stewart injury has made a difference but it’s multiple windows now and we went into this one saying we needed two in. Even accounting for the Stewart situation, we failed with that. Looks very likely we counted on Everton getting sorted, despite saying all window we wouldn’t do that.
