That's a big call mate, not saying you are wrong but Rossco burries a fair few % of his chances. Gelhardt, to me, is more or a 10 in the Pritchard role pressing.

But, if Gelhardt fancies smashing in 20 goals in the second half of the season then that will do me. <cheers>
if you look at stewarts numbers its the weakest area of his game

Feel like an arse saying it because he’s banging goals but I actually think as good as Stewart is, his finishing can be one of his weakest attributes. I think if Stewart had the finishing of someone like Gyokores he would scary good and probably at someone much better than us!

Absolutely gutted for Roscoe. We've had some rotten ****ing luck this season. Absolutely massive couple of days coming up

Not bricking it as such, cos I do not think we are relegation fodder. However without a "Stewart" we are not promotion contenders.

So I completely agree that in the next few days our recruitment team ( has had some plaudits lately) needs to pull a rabbit or two out of the hat!

Ike Ugbo seems our kind of signing. Right age and lost his way a little bit.

Decent shout, this. Another young talent that's gone adrift and could fit the mould here. Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Championship clubs were after him, so I wouldn't be surprised if we were one of them given our situation. Scored against us as well a few year back iirc.

Sorry was date night with the missus so was banned from the forum for a few hours

Here's a few young strikers I have seen that we should be keeping an eye on:
Ranos - Bayern - 19 and scored 13 in 21 for the reserves (out of contact end of the season)
Rijkhoff - Dortmund - 18 and scored 10 in 11 for the u19s - huge fan of this lad
Botheim - Salernitana - 23 and has struggled since joining them in the summer but he's a handful
Dickson - Man City - unlikely to get this lad with getting Gelhardt on loan but I've always liked him when I've seen him
Soonup-Bell - Chelsea - A few have mentioned him before and he would be class (out of contact end of the season)
Burstow - Chelsea - just check out his goal against Oxford earlier this season

Plenty of good players out there for us so hopefully we signed one permently

Still think we need a CM and I would like a CB as well if I was being greedy
I'd like to add Mubama from West ham to that cracking list if I may.

I think Mowbray is hinting at bring in some experience, not so much more youngsters. I am sure he is right that we need a bit extra experience.

Thinking aloud, Will Keane is out of contract in the summer and sounds like Wigan may need some money. Probably a very hard deal to do though. Clarke-Harris could be done but someone was saying recently his attitude can be problematic. He has the game to play here I think. I find it hard to think of others we could go for. Essential we keep the likes of Pritchard and Wright I think though now, just to bring that know how when needed.
Kevin Nesbit pulled out of his proposed move from Hibs the other day, think we were linked earlier.

That's what I said mate, I think he will stay there till summer.
If he comes it's a bonus, but I think the club might just hold off buying anyone, so another loan, OR if we are lucky Simms but I doubt it.

likely means Wright will leave

Love succession planning
I’d be tempted to keep wright around until the summer very thin in the ground experience wise at the minute, saying that he’s looked off the pace at times this season so can understand why we’d let him go
