Dont see Gelhardt as the point man personally. Not in the same way Stewart is. He seems more of a 10 to me, or one to play off a 9 as a double forward. I would be amazed if Mowbray wasnt thinking of him and Stewart playing together personally. We were all scratching our heads as to where Geldhart would fit in last night, I think you’ve got your answer. Allows us to continue with Clarke, Diallo and Roberts behind.
no way we set up as 352 or 442Dont see Gelhardt as the point man personally. Not in the same way Stewart is. He seems more of a 10 to me, or one to play off a 9 as a double forward. I would be amazed if Mowbray wasnt thinking of him and Stewart playing together personally.
Kevin Nisbet just turned Millwall down at £2m…
Might be worth a punt at convincing him we are a different proposition.
he doesn’t fit the previous profile but this is an extraordinary situation

tin hat on and all that but i think Geldhart will be more clinical in front of goal than Stewart2 up top for us is just a no go for me. It means weakening the midfield which we have an abundance of quality in and dropping either Clarke Diallo or Stewart. Geldhart played as a lone striker Leeds when Rodrigo and Bamford were injured. Whilst Stewart will undoubtedly be a huge miss I’m less concerned having another unselfish striker here who’s been playing regularly in the Prem, albeit it one who’s obviously not the target man Stewart is - but on that note how many goals does Stewart score with his head?
I wouldn’t be surprised if we launch a missile strike on Everton in the next 24 hours

That's a big call mate, not saying you are wrong but Rossco burries a fair few % of his chances. Gelhardt, to me, is more or a 10 in the Pritchard role pressing.tin hat on and all that but i think Geldhart will be more clinical in front of goal than Stewart

Sorry was date night with the missus so was banned from the forum for a few hoursWe need @Scout73 to dig into his scouting reports and give us some 19 year old wonderkid, who has a hundred games under his belt, plays like LND, and is free because he called the coach a naughty word.
Hi mate you know much about the lad from Everton?Sorry was date night with the missus so was banned from the forum for a few hours
Here's a few young strikers I have seen that we should be keeping an eye on:
Ranos - Bayern - 19 and scored 13 in 21 for the reserves (out of contact end of the season)
Rijkhoff - Dortmund - 18 and scored 10 in 11 for the u19s - huge fan of this lad
Botheim - Salernitana - 23 and has struggled since joining them in the summer but he's a handful
Dickson - Man City - unlikely to get this lad with getting Gelhardt on loan but I've always liked him when I've seen him
Soonup-Bell - Chelsea - A few have mentioned him before and he would be class (out of contact end of the season)
Burstow - Chelsea - just check out his goal against Oxford earlier this season
Plenty of good players out there for us so hopefully we signed one permently
Still think we need a CM and I would like a CB as well if I was being greedy
Seen him a couple of times, never stood out but that can be a good thing as a CB. If I remember right he's pretty good at playing out from the back, good on both feetHi mate you know much about the lad from Everton?
Makes zero difference what order they come in - as long as they come inCan we get a striker in first please!
