This is all good for us, the more we bring these young lads on the more the big clubs will trust us with players.

Not ideal that we only get them for a year, but better to to have a year than not at all

Then add to that other young players seeing how we help development and they might want to be part of it

Exciting times ahead

From what I was told they made an offer on Tuesday gone, I don't know any increase on what's been posted
So for clarity as this is important.

The two lads who have had info previously and have said we have offered £20k are wrong? And the actual offer is £800 more than he is on now?

I said that excluding the add ons, we have not offered more than 10 as a basic, I don't know what the add ons are.
But if your unhappy with what I'm posting which is gen info as proved on the 21/22 wage structure, and them figs go into 2023, then I can easily stop.
I just pass on what I was told
And yes your 2 mates are defo wrong on the 20k p week, in fact 100% wrong

Look at what we are paying Patterson our No1 keeper, £700 + clean sheet money, Fing darlo pay that

Jesus mate, calm down. I asked a reasonable question. Nothing more.

Surely that's acceptable without the threat of stopping posting being chucked about?

Most on here think we are a massive club, we are as a fan base and as a building structure i have followed these everywhere since I was a young Un, we are going through a massive restructuring process, but if we don't get it right we will go back years, this new model will take 4 years to iron out, the fans want it done instantly.
But they want KLD to chuck his own money at it, he will not.
Does anyone know how much he got on Dec 21st as a trust payment ????.
Scary.

If we are to believe it's all about "the model" and we have a particular ceiling with regards FFP then why don't they just make their best and final and be done with it? This talk of KLD "stepping in" may well be a good thing in the short term, but how does that contribute to making us sustainable?

For the record I love LND and he's been even better than I could ever have imagined, but no player is bigger than the club

Agree with all of this. We can be seen as a genuine option to allow PL clubs to develop their players. I guarantee Calum Doyle is wondering about his choices this season....
As long as it's no more than 2/3 players per season then I think it's a useful model

We have to balance between loans and permanents. Forest used loans to go up last season and then needed 6 or 7 players just to stand still.

We must avoid doing that imo

Agree. 2/3 is fine as long as we can still develop our own players at the same time. I wouldn't want any loan player to come in and be guaranteed a place ahead of our own players. The club is doing so much good work at the moment. We are a world away from the **** show that Madrox and Short presided over - there is genuine planning and forethought to our dealings. It's massively encouraging
