Sadly the French journo is only guessing, as Lihadji has not once ever played up front in his career. Only ever on the wing.
Not saying he can't transition, which might be what the journo is saying, but he's got no experience of playing up top.

Not for one second saying its by design, but playing with a false 9 now may end up actually being a suitable formation. When it really wasn't / shouldn't have been back then. 5 months is a long long time for a team this young playing at this level for the first time.
- Mowbray had only just come in, we hadn't found our way under him
- Our players were still trying to find THEIR feet in the league and what worked and how
- Those players are now lots more experienced
- Amad and Roberts weren't really firing then
- Ballard was injured and so our defence was more susceptible

I wouldn't class it as stressful like. Disappointing but not stressful.
