I'll be a bit gutted if we don't at least get one proper centre forward in if I'm honest, but it's certainly not the end of the world and I won't be someone who has a go at the club for not bringing anyone in.

We will definitely have to adjust our style of play up front mind but I think we have enough attacking players to do that, as long as they start sticking the chances away.

For other areas of the squad I think we have enough depth barring any more serious injuries.

Tend to agree. Frustrating but I'm sure the club did everything they could. Roscoe getting injured has absolutely ****ed us over

Kyle Lafferty is available. Considering we should be signing any big striker at any cost, lets get him in.

Better than no strikers. No rush now of course as he’s out of his contract so he can sign after the deadline. Ideally we can now spend the next few hours productively and then hopefully it doesn’t come down to free agents.

Is it my job to scout players for Sunderland? Give me half an hour and I’ll find a few if you’re that bothered though, as I’ve done previously in this thread.

Before making a f*cking arse of yourself why don’t you look at the business happening around us and you’ll see there’s clearly plenty of players available for loan. Why WOULDNT clubs want to reduce their wage bill for 6 months?

Obafemi to Burnley.
Araujo to Watford.
Archer to Boro.
Marquinhos to Norwich.
Lowe to QPR.

You assume those players fit the type of player we wanted, and they wanted to come here. And yes, you're right, we do have scouts, who would have scouted plenty of players. Then we'd have a list of targets. Then those targets would need to be available.

So before you say I'm making an arse of myself, if any of the players you mentioned were a target of ours, then either them or their club decided we weren't where they wanted to go, then that's not something we can do anything about
