I can see us done for today. We need back up up front but they gambled last summer.

I don't get this argument. I get it for pre-January but not now.

5 days ago we have two of the best strikers in the league and were looking for a third.

We can't just make clubs and players do what we want because Stewart got injured. if anything its the opposite - his injury will have put us in a terrible negotiating position

Or you could look at it the other way - it’s a brilliant opportunity for someone to get plenty of gametime at a team playing great free flowing football in the championship.

yeh but that only works for some types of signing. and as we've seen with Simms, if clubs aren't able to bring players in they're not going to let anyone out.

apparently we just have to ask<doh>

I've not given up hope, normally when we're done a Phil Smith type will tweet that we're done, and he hasn't.....yet

I don't think we will get such a tweet until very late. Because there's no way they will stop trying. Whatever happens won't be through lack of effort or intent from them.

Doesn't look like anything is happening. Time to move on and win as many games as we can between now and end of season.

So...who plays up top against Leeds...if we get through! Looks like we will be reverting back to a false number 9...if we get through.
And if Geldhart gets injured it will be the same for league games.
