This is the big question. Can he be given a second chance and that will be about how bad the incident was, how forgiving those players were or how much Ralph wants to have a look, not about how good he is or could
Totally agree. This is the big question. Can he be given a second chance and that will be about how bad the incident was, how forgiving those players were or how much Ralph wants to have a look, not about how good he is or could be.
Hoedt shown a red card on debut as Vigo throw a lead to lose 2-1 to Valladolid.
Wes must be feeling at home already!
They will do by the summer, as Maxi Gomez is moving to West Ham for £43.5m.Celta doesn't have the money to buy him, even at a cut-rate price. Think Hoedt will get another stamp or two on his passport before we're shot of him.
Been knocked back, but Birmingham are expecting us to come back with another offer (allegedly). The Mirror are linking us to Che Adams for £8m, I see.
A one-in-two scoring record this season.
£8m+ an international goalkeeper?Been knocked back, but Birmingham are expecting us to come back with another offer (allegedly).
He did say that he wants gamechangers with the potential to be special which boufal fits into. says when i looks at developing players he wants somebody with talent but need to improve in an area he can develop. he specifically said that professionalism is something he can develop. boufal is also an attacker who likes to press and win the ball so if he can improve his mentality, Boufal to me seems the perfect fit.It is intriguing to see the comments about a possible return for Boufal. From what has become apparent since December, it is pretty obvious to me that Ralph is looking to rely upon a core of players with whom he can have total trust. I am not even convinced that ability is as much a criteria for him as having a team of players with whom he can have total confidence and faith. I don't think that Ralph would be going his due diligence if he did not look at Boufal but I would have thought that his personality would have precluded a return. I am not sure that many of the playing staff left over from the spring would particularly welcome him back either. Boufal is something of a mercurial talent and I think it is pretty clear he has ability but I don't see a route back for him in the club. We would get flashes of brilliance from him if selected yet I don't think that would be a worthwhile trade off for reintroducing someone who was allegedly an antagonistic presence in the club.
It is disappointing that these players are all being shipped out on loan as opposed to genuine sales. The squad is flabby but I suppose most of the fringe players are not going to attract bids even if Cedric's departure on load as opposed to transfer took most people by surprise. I am surprised that Elynoussi has not gone but would appreciate that Ralph might see some potential with a player who lacks confidence.
Re: Charlie .......
There is some truth he could be sold, can't say yet what has triggered this.....but the favourite place (if our valuation is met) hasn't even been mentioned yet in the press but if he goes there it will be a good fit for him.
I was thinking the same. Got his ban and then wasn't in the squad for the next game.I wonder if there is anything behind the scenes after he was banned for the two fingered salute ? Maybe Ralph didn't like that. I hope he was fined for it at least
