I think Carrillo's injured, he hasn't been in the squad for a couple of weeks (and surely Uncle Mo hasn't dropped him). Replaced by Middlesbrough's Martin Braithwaite. One Dane I'm happy not to sign.

edit: he got an ankle injury in a match, not too bad though so out for 2-4 weeks.

I have a tiny bit of hope that Ralph might be able to weave his magic on Boufal. Unless that ship has sailed.

Even if Ralph wasn't able to, I've still seen more from Boufal in a Saints shirt than I've seen from Ely.

If you asked me which one I'd have rather in our squad on Wednesday, I know the answer.

The problem is, that I imagine alot of other teams have too... And it's clear Ralph doesn't fancy him... He said in a recent interview that it's easier to coach players with pace, than those without are very limited.
Need to find a club who would take him on...

I thought he said he liked him? Hardly slow either...

It’s a risk waking up everyday!

Of course there is a risk in doing what Ralph has with Cedric going, but I don’t recall anyone saying it’s a risk leaving him out for Valery or Ramsey over the last few weeks, when he has. Every decision in selection is a risk.

It’s a risk not signing a new CB. It’s a risk relying on Danny staying fit and not having to rely on Long for goals.

We were looking doomed. We are currrently still in the thick of a relegation battle, but when we changed that manager it was clear this man would do it his way, stay up or go down. Moving on those bigger earners was always part of this.

Fans moan that the squad was average and big. We move some on and fans worry about the risk. Well, the risk was there anyway, with average players. It is a classic “no-win” situation for the gaffer.

It is a risk, but I’m liking and understanding the risk.

Frank Drebin, in Police Squad: "Well, you take a big chance getting up in the morning, crossing the street, or sticking your face in a fan."

Yeah, Boufal is pretty quick if I remember right. Reckon Ralph will have a look. Worth a shout.

2 goals and an assist in 18 at Celta Vigo so far this season

Ralph has said he wants to work with young players with a bit of X factor that he can polish up.
Sofiane has the X factor, he would be a more mature student, but if he can’t improve with Ralph, don’t think he ever will.

I think you lot have rose coloured spectacles when it comes to Boufal. He was dreadful

Re: Charlie .......
There is some truth he could be sold, can't say yet what has triggered this :emoticon-0127-lipss .....but the favourite place (if our valuation is met) hasn't even been mentioned yet in the press but if he goes there it will be a good fit for him.
