Not sure that’s what he actually said, but from my point of view, just wish him all the best. I’m afraid I can’t get into the business of wishing players or previous managers ill will. Just hope they find a new route to success as I hope we are now finding. Personally I like to go to sleep at night hoping that I’ve not made anyone else feel humiliated or upset with anything I’ve said or done, but instead provided encouragement or support if needed. Not sure of total success in this area, but one still tries as they say.
Did he really not play any minutes under Ralph? If so, strange as I thought the manager was looking at everyone.

Particularly when you need a CB. Not sure self reflection is a strength of Wes...along with defending, come to think of it.
I wish we could have an in-thread vote: How many players do you think Southampton will sign this window, especially as we are edging away from the drop zone with what we have?

Under Hughes we didn’t have a single CB that looked half capable of keeping us up. RH has got the best out of most of them. Don’t think Hoedt was any worse than the others under Hughes and hopefully he will get a chance with his new club to replicate the two MOTM performances he had with us. Time to move on.
