Looks like ings works fine in ralphs system.could have had a couple of goals against the toffees

Where do people get financial problems from? As far as I can see, the club only need to sell first because of the squad size. Have I missed a big financial results release?

Squad size shouldn't be much of an issue. On the financial side, we won't know for a couple months minimum...we certainly were not financially troubled before the takeover.

He has a huge ego and moans alot and blames others for his failings. Yet isn't a good player

As it stands, we’ll have 32 senior players contracted to the club come the start of the summer.
23 are registered to the PL squad now.
Hesketh is in limbo at the moment and not part of the 23.

Sims I presume will be added. Jack Rose, as our fourth keeper, can easily be subtracted. While the squad size could be an issue in the summer, many of those players will not be Saints; Hoedt, Clasie and Carrillo have presumably played their final games with the club, Flannigan and Seager are not going to be around that level, at least one of McQueen/Targett will not be here, etc. We have some decisions to make, to be sure, but if acquiring the right players they shouldn't be particularly difficult decisions.

And I mentioned Maja a while back. Would happily take him, and I'd be surprised if Sunderland could get £4m given that he's out of contract in the summer.

Pretty well sums up what we all suspect. We aren't desperate for players and need to move some on first....add in the difficulty of buying in the January window at a reasonable price...all adds up to waiting until the summer. Buy in haste, repent at leisure. And there hasn't been one serious rumour so far. Could yet be a surprise, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'd forgotten about McQueen...looked promising, but now out in the cold as too much competition for his position.

He'd gone on loan to M'boro and then suffered a season ending injury a few months ago now. Be interesting to see how/if he fits back into the squad as like a lot of that age group it surely is now or never as to whether they stay here (Gallagher, Hesketh, Sims, Reed I would include in that list as well).

Thanks...missed that....or more likely just forgot it. :)
