No one has said he’s the answer, just that it’s worth giving him a chance to see what he can do.
Imo he is a better player than Obafemi, and Obafemi has already proven a better option than long/Austin this season
Yes I agree he needs to be given a chance. Going over old ground though, but a few are “sounding” a bit rose tinted glasses about him.

Can't judge him on last time. He was 18 years old, just breaking into professional football, had just lost his dad and was playing a completely different style of football in a completely different team.
A lot has changed for him and for us since then, and is well worth another chance in my opinion.
He needs a chance, but remember this is a player who didn’t do a great deal in the championship. That’s all I’m saying; a little caution.

Looks like we have a few bids to consider for Gabbiadini. Hopefully that means we get the option of a permanent deal rather than loan to buy. Also could mean they have to pay a decent amount.
