Gotta admire the lads ambition tbf... understandable that at his age he doesn't want to be stuck at a medium sized club whose ambition seems limited to reaching the odd League Cup final once in a while ... might possibly have thought differently about it if 'Pool didn't also have a serial cup final loser at the helm .... but realistically ... what are the chances of 'Pool reproducing the biggest ever trophy fluke by an English team ...the Istanbul draw / penalty 'triumph' ?
joke transfer by us. To be honest i think he'd be a good asset at 15m if we can get conte to up his fitness, get rid of his big ego and stop him trying to dribble past everyone. On the otherhand i think we have a lot of midfield options, prefer us to play a 3-4-3 and want to develop fuzzy ampadu.

So glad Barkley is going to Chavs. I think he’d be too much the Billy Big Bollocks for Poch’s tastes. That’s clearly the reason we haven’t gone in for him.

Chelsea are only buying him so that no one else can, as usual. They did the same with Salah and KDB. Once they got them, they didn't know what to do with them.

I'd be happy with a price agreed but he moves on July 1st. He'll probably go in Jan though, which is fine if we get someone else in.
We basically spent the Coutinho money on VVD and Keita, so all in all definitely worth it considering what we need as a squad.
It wouldn't surprise me if we sign Lemar and/or Goretzka if Coutinho goes.
Whatever happens I'm liking the look of what Klopps doing with this squad.
