About time we had one of these I reckon. Lots of rumours about City coming in for Virgil and he didn't play last week apparently due to a lack of commitment. Make of that what you will. What are you lot hoping for? We're in desperate need of an attacking midfielder.
Not been that bad to be fair to him but clearly isn't all that bothered which is probably why he was left out at the weekend against Chelsea. If he doesn't feature again on Saturday then we'll know he's off imo.
Kind of hoping we sell Sanchez to PSG for £30m+ as he's going to end up at City on a free otherwise. He's gone missing this season and clearly wants out. Would be good to at least get something for him and **** him off abroad.
United will be linked with every player under the sun and sign a 7 year old kid from Porto on 31st Jan.
Depends if any other clubs want him though. If they do, then it gives us a hand to ask for a decent fee to guarantee the sale. ****ing ridiculous situation though, we should never have allowed it to come to this.
Has he played CL for Arsenal this season? If so you can forget getting a fee imo. I think he'll have a lot of offers in Jan for big money, if he gets sold his signing on fee will be much smaller than if he leaves for nothing.
No, so he's not cup tied. Whilst he's under contract, we still have the option to sell him for a fee. If there are a few clubs interested in Jan, then one of them might want to get the deal done and dusted, rather than wait until the summer and potentially miss out.
It's only foreign clubs who can pre contract him though isn't it? If he really wants to go to City under Pep he might hold out.
Sanchez is a brilliant footballer, but he's showing that his attitude is a bit suspect this season. He's always been a bit stroppy, but that kind of comes with the South American thing and the fact that he's hungry and selfish. If he goes to City, as has been pointed out, will he walk straight into that team ? Probably not. If that's the case then he will flounce off big time. The guy is nearly 29 and will want to be a guaranteed starter.
Yeah of course. Either way he holds the cards, he doesn't have to move and if he's got money on his mind he'll sit it out at Arsenal for another 5 months. I reckon Real Madrid may come for him as well, if they can shove Bale out for £50m and bring him in for nothing that's a great bit of business.
