Just watched (as much as I could stand) some of the forest v derby game, mainly to see what the fuss is with Will Hughes. Well if we are thinking of buying him all I can say is PLEASE DONT. He looks another lightweight midfielder ,hardly got involved and showed no real interest in changing the game. I know derby were poor but he is the type of player (at 10 million) you would look to to influence the result. One for the future? Maybe but not what we need right now.
He's been fantastic for Derby apparently (know plenty of Derby fans) but I'd agree with you, we have enough potential and could use £10m to get someone better and for now.
This guy from West Brom seems to be a decent talent. Scored a few for under 21's and scored a few this season for West Brom in the cups and today at OT. He even has a "hino" at the end of his name despite being English so he must be ****ing brilliant!!

be surprised if we got a big name signing in Jan , esp with World cup year, players will be looking for teams in European football of some kind to show case their talents to their national teams. any decent players out there that are being overlooked by the nationals that we could get? we are a huge club that gets headlines, sometimes for the right reasons lol, maybe they could see us as a good move for them, who is out there though that we could get? don't watch much European football anymore to give names.

Great potential Unfortunately, his price will be seriously inflated and will most likely go to Man Utd. Think there are some great DM's in the market and I hope we land one or two in January.
A lot of money that, but the boys a regular German International, one of the best players in that position in Europe.. Money is something the Gunners have quite a bit of and if they're still top come Jan then they could invest to help make that final push.
