Burnley are expected to complete the [HASHTAG]#DeadlineDay[/HASHTAG] signings of Robbie Brady, Andrew Robertson and Ashley Westwood for over £25m.
It goes to show, if you get a few points on the board before the transfer window, it's very easy to recruit good players. As you're almost certainly offering 18m in the premier league.

£25m is excellent business for three very better than average PL players with age on their side. Who did they have before? Marney and Boyd, Westwood and Brady is an upgrade for sure.

Left back? Who has said that? Whoever it was hasn't watched him play much.

He's probably filled in there now and again but he's defo a centre back.
There was a reference to us buying a left back (a big unit?), I scanned through the last few pages, and as. I have less interest in foreign football than the premier league, these names just go over my head.

History is not on Ranocchia's side, in the last 15 years, it is a struggle to name more than a handful of players who have transferred from Italy to England and been a success. I defy anyone to name more than 3.
Luca Brasi, Pete Clemenza, Sal Tessio and Johnny Fontane.

So without delving through the last few pages, we've bought a Watford midfielder for £3 and got an Inter Milan central defender/left back (depending who you listen to??)?? Robertson looking more likely to go to Burnley, which is just rubbing our noses in it. Does that summarise todays activity? Oh and Davies out for 8 weeks.
So Ehab just about doing enough to make it appear to EPL that he isn't asset stripping?
Barely enough

Firstly I don't think we should be selling anybody just for the fact we have so few players.. however let's get real about how good these players really are in this league You just have to look at the teams coming in for our players to see how good they are Robertson supposedly one of the best young fullbacks in the league but only Burnley in for him. Snodgrass had Burnley, Middlesbrough and West Ham chasing him. There good players for us because the standard in our squad is poor

You seem desperate to convince yourself the players we have sold are complete ****e, but the fact remains that Snodgrass has the second best conversion rate from FKs in the league, who contributed 50% of our goals before leaving, and Robertson is a rising star at 22 years old who is only going to get better. We shouldn't be selling either of them, especially for the fees we received.

**** off ****.
So you went to watch FC rather than us?

I will reply just this once.
I bought Hull City tickets through Hull FC.
City give a few tickets to Hull FC to either sell on or give to their employees. I have no idea if they still do this.
I learned this off someone on this forum who works for Hull FC. He offered tickets for 1 match and I asked about other matches.
I used to ring and reserve and pay over the phone.
Believe what you will I really could not give a flying fig.
I still have the e-mail on here from the contact I had on this forum.

Bed for me now

He's not said theyre complete ****e has he. First line says they shouldnt be sold.
But he has a point about how good they are at the present time.
