He wasn't touted as a future captain, he was captain. But he was totally ****ing awful every time he ever played.
So how did he play 21 games for Italy if he was always awful? As ever I support who p!ays for us and we are currently light in CB positions. OK so he isn't Bonucci, but let's see if he's more comfortable with Marco's zonal system and give him a chance before dismissing him.
