Snodgrass owes us for the season he was out, and last season where we only saw glimpses of his ability whilst he still getting himself back fit.

He owes us nothing - he helped get us promoted last season, his displays this season have kept us in touch with those just outside the relegation zone. If you believe there's any loyalty in football you should mebbe change your name to dumbarse.

Clucas went to head their kick off which was sailing straight out for throw in to us! He misplaced his next 2 passes! Deffo not his best game!

Snodgrass owes us whatever bid we accept for him. If he's performed well enough for somebody to be prepared to pay a price we're happy with, his done his bit.

Nice to have a positive coach who isnt afraid to say hey lads were here to win

More of the same

Lets see what next week brings if we can get a rwb, and a couple of tricky pacey wingers in to suit silvas systems then we could see some exciting stuff

Interesting when he says we dont have natural wingers i suppose that leaves question marks over a few players in the squad clucas , diomande possibly

When Silva first took over, I found a video of the highlights of when Olympiakos beat Arsenal at the Emirates to see what style of football they played - looked like a 4-3-3 with a pacey big guy up top, flanked by two pacey winger-type strikers.

His signing of Niasse and wanting 'wingers with pace' fit into this bracket - I wouldn't be surprised if this is what his post-January aim is, but where that leaves Snodgrass in his plans, who knows? I'm guessing it would also mean playing Hernandez as one of the 'winger-type strikers', unless Niasse fails to settle.

Prob have two strikers rotating if he likes a high pressing game
Be very interested to know our winger targets
Anybody know if niasse and evandro are mendes clients?
Or van der wiel

Not a winger I'm afraid , don't rate him at all when played out wide mainly for this reason
Personally thought he had a very steady second half in particular, and his link up play with Robertson is normally very good. Actually think we've missed that a bit when he's played centre mid, although he's done very well there. What I like about Clucas is he can do either, while Mason seems to have been invisible until put in his favourite position. Interesting that some idiots on here were calling him clueless a while ago and now some people worried about him being transferred. Wonder if any of them are the same people.

Mason needed time to settle, to be played in his best position and an attacking coach not a coach who was scared to death

But some will say its all down to how much he weighs lol

Excellent post. I see the Clucas bashers are out on mass again.

What good is a left wing winger who never try's to beat a man and constantly just turns and plays the ball backwards ? Not bashing him he's played very well when played in the middle but as a winger he's pointless

Re: Clucas. It think his best position his central midfield. On the left, he doesn't quite have the trick, burst of pace, or quality of delivery to be absolute top drawer. In the centre his calmness under pressure, ability to read the game and his engine really come to the fore.

Me too but theyl never admit it as thry know everything

To be fair up until the last 2 games he really hasn't looked a Premier League footballer. Let's see what he achieves between now and the end of the season before offering him the keys to the City.

He still has a lot to do for me to justify his price tag. Not his fault, but still.

why not give Snodders a 10 year contract, we all know they are meaningless.
it can be cancelled at any time.
