A step up for him to mid table Div. 1.

Hope he does well and comes back to us an even better player in the summer.

It could be argued that Rubin should have had some loan time.

Rubin needs to improve his fitness levels. He’s been half a yard too slow for a while now, as was in evidence last night, which has resulted in him losing the ball too often.

I think he’s a skilful player but he needs to sharpen up to complement his ability.

For me, he has the skills but not the application. He's slow over the ground and seems prepared to let the game carry on around him.

That's either through as you say fitness levels, or sheer apetite for the battle - because that what it is right now.

Had to laugh at Blakey last night describing Rubin as a “beautiful player.”

I’d have him in my team every game if he had the right players around him to enable him to showcase his obvious qualities and if he was played in his best position (not centre forward as at Boro<doh>)

That’s possibly too many ‘ifs’ though:emoticon-0138-think

Definitely too many "ifs". This is Cardiff City in the ****.

The "quality" players at the club to make him look good are few and far between even if they exist at all.

Apart from the rare occasions he pulls off a bit of magic, he's the wrong sort of player at the moment in this tough league and I think Riza knows it - that's why he played him last night.

I think Blakey needs to get back on the bus. Colwill has had quality around him when he's played for Wales and he looked average at best. Seems to be the type that wants to wait for things to happen then he'll play. It's probably why Bellers left him out in recent games.

For me the first thing he needs to do is get his head up early when he receives the ball. Then make a good pass.

If he has to take on and beat someone ffs then make the pass. Don't try and beat another player or the same one again.

He gets picked off so easily by not knowing what is happening around him.

And change his f'ing hair colour back to whatever natural is. He is a walking target with his blond topknot.

Just watching Acrington Stanley in the cup. I wonder of Liverpool want to loan Ngumoha out. 16, like $h!t of a shovel and good ball control. He'd terrorise defences.

So if it’s true City were willing to spend E3-4m on the Pole will that money be added to presumably the funds needed to get in a proven striker and pacy winger?

Why would you pay £3M for a playing in a position we've got loads of players who can do a job, when you've got a position where nobody can do a job?
You don't need footballing nous to work that out, just not be stupid.!
