what's funny is
we had more points after 29 games in 2020 than we do this season
and we finished dead last then:1980_boogie_down:

Neither were Forest.

They had to spend well over £100 million in their first window. If they stay up this season, it will look like it paid off but second season syndrome could hit them quite hard.

Mate of mine at work has a mate of his who’s an analyst at Forest. According to him, there’s like three different squads within a squad at Forest. There’s Cooper’s signings, there’s the owners signings and then there’s the players they had in the Championship. The owner’s a bit of an eccentric tosser from what I’ve heard. There’s also allegations of bribery, corruption and him being some sort of kingpin for drug trafficking in Piraeus.

Aren't our owners mates with them?

He do 3 for 100?

Rosie will want 2 good players fighting it out for each position. It's a 25 man squad. It's not difficult to see where any of them fit in. You need 18 not 11 on a matchday.
2 for every position use to be easy to grasp. It becomes more difficult when we start talking about different formations, and then players able to play in different position

Another season in the Champ + a promotion transfer window and you won't be far off £100m these days. Bournemouth and Southampton spunked a fair wedge last month.

True. Though with Forest I think they’ve massively overpaid for some players purely because other clubs know Forest have money from promotion and their owner is loaded plus winning the play-offs gave them a lot of FFP headroom to play with. Wolves rinsed them for Gibbs-White imo. He’s been one of their better players this season actually but he was never worth what they paid for him on the back of a decent season in the Championship.

seems smith played decent tonight
Oxford United have suddenly become everyone on this board’s second favourite team?

Edit: Schoolboy error, I’d assumed they were competing at top of League One and could be a thorn in the side of some of our previous rivals. Just looked at the table and we’re closer to play offs than they are.

If you look up his Wikipedia it states his allegations in black and white. Mate of mine is a forest fan and we constantly joke about the amount of buildings that have suddenly burned down when he's needed the land
