so 4 points up back then….close. It’s doable. The next 4-5 games define our season. I’m no longer worried about relegation, it’s now about how high we can climb. Finishing 7th would be a result
campbell was huge in the second half
if one of our new signings can grab 10 goals from now, would be tasty

If we are going to make the effort to finish 7th may as well make it 6th then we can have a go on the lotto that is the play offs.

Isn't Simons just simply still on loan to us? Nothing has changed has it?

We can actually buy him whenever we want, he just wouldn’t be a permanent signing until his City contract is signed. Until then yeah he’s just on loan, which is why I don’t understand why we spent so long on this yesterday. Guess to free up a loan spot, which we didn’t fill anyway.

I’d still take top ten, with the base we’ve got there’s no reason we can’t push on to the top half. Heck if we barnstorm it, who knows and if you hit the playoffs with some form anything can happen, but that’s not what I’m expecting.

Anything in the top half would be great, top ten even better, any more than that and we’ll have to hope Rosenior isn’t poached in the Summer.

It's not just the points it's also the number of teams between us and the last play off spot, IMHO.

We need to do better than all of the to grab a playoff spot.

Might happen though.

I’m pretty sure that there will be one or two of the current top 6 that won’t still be there come the end of the season. I certainly don’t expect Blackburn to be.

A lot will happen between now and the end of the season. A top 10 finish would be incredible given the start we had. Far too early to consider top 6, but who knows, after the next handful of games...

Are we really considering top 6. Our last three league games are draw loss win. The last gasp draw to a team on the floor. A brave but second best performance to a top two side. A win to a team in the same neck of the woods who were beginning to dominate until the deflected goal. Where is all this optimism for a top six finish coming from?

Drugs?

3 points and 6 goals off 6th. We're currently 6 points and 2 goals off 6th. We'd need to win every game in April to be in with a chance. It's a big ask.
