That’s a shame. We ought to put a bid in for a permanent now. He’s total class. You get the feeling Brighton would sell and he might say yes. How much would they want?

We’ve been saying for a long time that we needed a nasty player to give us more bite, in Connolly we seem to have found one.
When we finish top half and all our signings are fit and flying id say minds will change. Class really shown today, this team is better then last years without a doubt.
Tan mentioned in an interview the excellent relationship Acun and the club have with the Forest and Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis. Can see them trying to utilise that to get Bowler next season. The type of player Rosenior likes and similar to Ebiowei
I’m still not convinced. Had a purple patch in form over around 10 games last season and aside from that it was pretty much the same as what we sawPlenty on here would grumble about getting him back.

Not exactly the kind of player you want in team if he goes missing for 3 days to force a move. Everton are best shot of him.
Looks like the intent is to try to get Ebiowei back next season on loan too, so it was never intended to just be 6 months.

Shark Sport initially didn't see the point in getting Ebiowei as it's for 6 months and won't have any real impact on our promotion chances, I noted that it is clearly the intention to have him beyond the 6 months, as confirmed by Tan in an interview published today, so yes I would consider that news.
I stand by that. I'm sure we wanted it to be longer than 6 months but that doesn't seem likely unless he's not great for us. I don't think he will be poor, I think he'll be a cracking player for us and with the Zaha situation, I think they'll keep him around. He's already very close to playing regularly for them so it's not like he's miles off.
But the club have acted like we're in with a proper shout of the top 6 all window. If we can get probably a couple more in by Tuesday, aside from Darlow (but at that level), we might actually be in with a shout.
Tan addressed that. Sounds like it's one that will be revisited in the summer but there's a clear appetite for it and demonstrates why having him this season isn't meaningless.
