Just got in from the pub, Enjoyed the home win at last. Thought they had a lot of possession but didn't really bother us. It was great to go 1.0 up and once we got the vital second one it was game over. Overall it's good to get that home winning feeling again not just for the players but the crowd as well. Hopefully we can continue it next week.

Tan mentioned in an interview the excellent relationship Acun and the club have with the Forest and Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis. Can see them trying to utilise that to get Bowler next season. The type of player Rosenior likes and similar to Ebiowei

Plenty on here would grumble about getting him back.

He's a different player now than the kid we loaned off Everton. And even selling Kamil and Jarrod, we only needed a dozen points to stay up. Its a bit unfair to judge a u21 against the shambles that was that season, and the dressing room revolt and mass downing of tools caused by Ehab's 'strategy'.

He's since added end-product to the promise he intermittently showed with us that year.

I'd happily have him back as a seasoned pro. He was a relative bairn with undue expection placed on very young shoulders when he was last here.

Good shout, he wasn't great when he was with us before, but he has certainly flourished and turned into a good player whilst at Blackpool.

Not exactly the kind of player you want in team if he goes missing for 3 days to force a move. Everton are best shot of him.

As with most things we don't have all the facts, I know he was chased and given awful abuse when he left after a game, he is a young lad and probably felt intimidated. Everton is a basket case, and even though as you say on the face of it, it wasn't the right way to handle things, there can sometimes be reasons why it happened this way.

Shark Sport initially didn't see the point in getting Ebiowei as it's for 6 months and won't have any real impact on our promotion chances, I noted that it is clearly the intention to have him beyond the 6 months, as confirmed by Tan in an interview published today, so yes I would consider that news.

I stand by that. I'm sure we wanted it to be longer than 6 months but that doesn't seem likely unless he's not great for us. I don't think he will be poor, I think he'll be a cracking player for us and with the Zaha situation, I think they'll keep him around. He's already very close to playing regularly for them so it's not like he's miles off.

But the club have acted like we're in with a proper shout of the top 6 all window. If we can get probably a couple more in by Tuesday, aside from Darlow (but at that level), we might actually be in with a shout.

Tan addressed that. Sounds like it's one that will be revisited in the summer but there's a clear appetite for it and demonstrates why having him this season isn't meaningless.

These situations are always tough anyway, as we saw with Wilson. If he does well and is available for loan, you'll have half the championship after him. And there are some really heavy hitters

It's only one though as it looks like the others are all available permanently in the summer.
