I aren't sure about this, could easily see it rise to 3/4 depending on who leaves
We need to get rid of a lot before we’ll likely start thinking of 2 more. Albeit we are doing pretty well so far, Cannon, Williams, Fleming, Sinik all off the wage bill (hopefully in Sinik’s case anyway). You’d imagine Scott, Emmanuel, Vale still to go for definite. Then maybe Tufan if he doesn’t get more game time.
Vale will go back, Scott will almost certainly go. Still not sure on Emmanuel.
I’d expect two to come in, a winger and a defensive mid. The winger we know, the defensive mid depends on whether we can strike a good deal.
Of all the pre season signings I think he has been the biggest disappointment. I thought he was going to rip up the left wing and feed Oscar with plenty of quality crosses. The let down of Ryan Williams springs to mind.
I don't imagine we'll see many, if any of these with us by the start of next season;

but not all signings are brilliant
Summer will see a lot of those go. Covil won’t, and I can’t see Longman or Coyle going either. But the bigger spend will be in the Summer, January is about fine tuning. Three of those are reserve/U23s mainstays so they won’t be missed anyway. I suspect players like Doc, Jones, Woods and Smith will be evaluated too to see if they can be upgraded.
Alas Smith and Jones.
He has an option I think, the club are willing to cut their losses and there’s interest north of the border.
We already have one, we need 2 wingers, centre mid, left back and centre half at a minimum. Ideally a striker and a keeper too and if Tufan goes another technical central midfield player.
I would always keep Docherty. Not the most gifted compared to others but always puts a shift in. The team always looks more balanced with him playing.
I’d keep him purely for his ability to run through people.
