I think that is more of a summer overhaul. I think the team Rosie had with a couple of additions is easily good enough for challenging inside the top 10. I think we are spoilt in wide areas with Allahyar, Longman, Tetteh and Ebiowei in our ranks.
It'll be interesting to see if/how his playing time is affected by Salah and Traore hopefully coming back soon
He’s certainly looked to have improved on the ball this season. Made as many tackles in the Brum game alone as Slater has in the last 10 games…
Well that's what you get for going to 3rd world towns..(bloody william Wallace monument)my wife used to tell me to wave to my dead English ancestors when we passed until I pointed out they are also our daughters.
What about Simmons now, do we need another cm. I thought he did enough on Saturday to be given another go
Spoilt? Allahyar's crocked again, Longman's done a job but isn't direct enough for a winger, Tetteh is coming back from serious injury which leaves Ebiowei, an unknown to the squad and how we play.
Ebiowei isn’t really unknown, he excelled at Derby at this level earning him a move to the Premier League. Palace have had him on the bench as they fee he has something to offer at that level. I think he is an outstanding loan for us and will do what Harry Wilson did for us. Tetteh played very well before his injury and showed in last weeks cameo that he could be another fantastic player for us. Longman is Championship quality but just needs to be more consistent but definitely good enough. I acknowledge Allahyar’s been injury prone but should be back in 4 weeks or so, Smith is ok cover too.
He has and he's having a decent season. I know Slater gets constant praise from Rosey but he's not been that good this season. You get sparks every so often and he's a good tidy player but he's not nailed down the type of midfielder he is yet. Simons was really good at the weekend but surely the only reason we'd keep him is if we could get it converted into a perm.
Rosie's just been on RH, saying that there's still no approaches for Tufan and as far as he's concerned, he's staying at City.
I know we've got no buy option but why would the player want to stay when he's unlikely to get decent minutes? He only signed a 1+1 deal with Chelsea too so he's highly likely to be available permanently
No one panic but Baz has gone back on the done deal. Said there’s complications. if it doesn’t happen Baz has lost whatever small amount of credibility he has.
