Over the moon with the Longman signing but don't think he was *meant* to be one of the 4 signings

But then again just because we want 4 signings doesn't give us the Acun given right to them!

I think Rangers are paying £40k a week.

tThat sounds right from the reports up here. Some signing, absolute master stroke for Rangers anyway, not sure how they pulled that one out the bag.

Very happy chap here, City on the up and hopefully Ramsay can help the Gers beat that other team from Glasgow.

I still think City could sneak another signing in. Decent window regardless.

The direct quote from Acun was "Up to four signings". People can split hairs over whether someone signing permanently is a signing, but he never said there would be 4 new signings.

The first signing of Ilcali's reign was midfielder Regan Slater but he was a Grant McCann target who played on loan last season. As Ilicali and his new coach Shota Arveladze spoke to the media, Iran forward Sayyadmanesh , valued in the £5m bracket, was going through a medical to be "his" first signing.

"We've just had a meeting and the coach said four (signings) is enough for us," said the Turkish businessman.

"Whatever he says should be done so we will have four transfers in this window.

That makes it sound like he's counting Slater as one of them.

In the main press conference Acun said up to four.
