Think Bernard would make a better defensive midfielder than a centre-half. He seems like he prefers playing further up and he’s good at carrying the ball and breaking up play.
Harrison Ashby is a RB if that was not answered.
Guess it means if one of the back 3 does get injured, we have options. Would have liked an experienced CB too.

I just cannot see this happening…..it would defo make a huge statement of intent from Acun.
How much will his wage be? 40k/week??
Don’t see the need for an experienced CB think ours have become just that .Also if KLP is worth serious money Greaves is close behind what great feet for a back , and McLoughlin is a Rolls Royce very composed . some say we have loads of midfielders but George apart do have any youngish creative ones who can pick a pass ?
We could do with more experience at the back ahead of a big push next year but I don't think it's a necessity right now.
Keeping giving the young defence minutes and see how they develop.
But who covers if / when one of the 3 CB's gets injured or suspended? Revert to back 4 or Festus, but is he up to it? Would rather have a quality experienced (not ancient) CB with then 3 of our young uns fighting for 2 places. Harsh on them as they've been excellent of late, but we are walking a tightrope imo, unless Shota plans on going to 4 at the back anyway.

Couldn't agree more re the CB's....I keep reading we need an experienced centre half, but who would you sacrifice to accommodate or would it be as cover...?... we are really blessed in that position. Greaves is becoming worth XX, McLouglin for me XXx... get Dishon signed....
