If Acun wants to be the groom in a successful marriage then we're gonna have to let him make his changes and he'll be judged in the long term.

I'd have kept McCann and I'd be prepared to bench KLP and refuse a move cos we have him tied for 2 1/2 years.

In a battle of wills the Allams won last time and Illicalli could now.

FTFY :emoticon-0148-yes:.

His assistant has an impressive CV. Management teams often have different dynamics, his assistant may be the tactician, Shota may be the motivator. Fergie was often surrounded by top coaches he just knew always how to get the best out of his side.
See 'New Manager' thread, post 117.

If we bring in 4 more as ST said then we should be fine this season even if KLP goes.

It's a real shame if Keano does want to leave though. Sunderland signing Patrick Roberts and Clarke should be stark reminders of what can happen and often does.

I do like KLP a lot but there's big areas to work on and he needs to play games to do that.

At least we know his money will be reinvested

Wow some real ITK bullshit posted through the night, not you syd.

it’s fascinating how much posters appear relaxed about selling klp
Can only imagine if….
Nah won’t go there
I am not relaxed about it Chazz. I think he would have been gone already if we didn’t have a new owner. That is opinion and only based on how I would feel if I was him.
I think the club has employed a naughty step
approach too often and thankfully that may stop now.

What playing every game this season is a naughty step?

He would have gone well before now and they'd have snapped Brentford's hands off for £10m

Honest opinion from me T.O.M(and it is only opinion).I think the lad thinks he's a bit better than he is.

He’s alright but he doesn’t stand out as anything special. He’s a focal point in our attack so is going to get noticed playing in our team but that same would be true of anyone playing there. He doesn’t look as good nor is he as effective as Bowen was although Bowen did have the advantage of playing alongside more accomplished players in a more complete team.

As Ric says, he is starting to believe the hype.

He has potential to turn into a real larker, but is miles away from being anything special.

For Brentford, 10 million ain't a risk. Even if he turns out bang average they would get that investment back in today's crazy world of football!

They always speak to agents before formal bids come in. Sometimes agents acting on behalf of the selling club too.

Last few days of the window then KLP, the club and the agents will know the potential 'score' .

Looks like £14m or £15m is the asking price.

I think (but don't 'know') a couple mil could be negotiable based on a loan-back.

But then the thread title says 'rumours'.

Maybe some should start their own thread called 'Transfer Facts' which would be very boring but might just satiate their need for the attention they seek instead of coming on here and provoking **** for the sake of it.
Transfer fact thread. I like that.

At this stage in his career I don't think a move would help. There's clearly potential there but there's also some immaturity that needs ironing out?
I'm not quite sure where they're from or why these rumours have developed overnight but I suspect it's idle chit-chat.

'If' he has had his head turned,a concrete bid is on the table and he truly wants away, then so be it...

Sorry Amin he’s way ahead of Bowen on natural talent, skill , control and touch intact he’s way ahead of many players in the leagues . He isn’t powerful or particularly fast and has a fair bit to learn but for pure skill he’s up there. Bowen has limited natural ball skill but he’s strong , balanced determined pretty quick and he’s taught himself to be two footed . I was at school with Paul Haigh he wasn’t skilful but he had all most all Bowen’s skills so made the grade at a decent level . I also played with a lot of incredibly skilful players who failed to make if for all the reasons Bowen has done. Can KLP get stronger and apply himself the way Bowen did , we’ll see ?

Posts last year indicated that there was going to be a shock move away from the club. It isn’t overnight.
I am not in the know.
